Colorado Photographer specializing in Commercial Photography, Sports Photography, Senior Portraits and Glamour Photography
The area I'm most interested in perfecting is Commercial Photography. This would include Editorial, Fashion, Landscape and Architectural but mainly of models smiling and enjoying whatever it is they are doing rather it be eating at a certain restaurant or watching a sport. I have had some photographs published but I want more.
I love photographing Seniors. Seniors make the best models. I have photographed a few and can't wait for the opportunity to Photograph many more Seniors in the years to come. I prefer shooting outdoors and a natural scene versus in an obviously fake studio setup. There can be a Commercial photography feel to the images. (full)
I love sports and I love photographing sports. I have created fan cards for race car drivers. I have photographed a golf tournament for a large corporation, bicycle riders, football and softball players. What better way to watch a sport than to be able to capture every moment for eternity.
Landscape and Architecture photography is an art. Granted the models are always on time and never complain but to make a landscape or Architecture photograph stand out can take several different days to get the perfect shot. I've read of one photographer who visited the same lighthouse for 3-4 months before finally getting the shot.
I thoroughly enjoy working with models and helping them suceed in a tough business. Don't be fooled Modeling is not easy and requires a lot of work. It's not just about getting accepted to an agency and waiting. The best models have marketed themselves to success. I do trade time for prints on occasion with select models who I feel could help with my portfolio otherwise I still love photographing models and do it very affordably.
Although I prefer Commercial type photography this area of photography is so artistic.
Lighting and poses are different than any other area of photography. The most publishable photographs have a
commercial feel.
